Be a packaging princess. You recycle. And buy recycled. Now try Pangea Organics and Cargo PlantLove lipsticks. Both use boxes infused with seeds. Wet one, plant it, and flowers or herbs grow. What's more. Cargo lipstick tubes are made of corn-derived plastic that takes less fossil fuel to produce and is compostable, says David Stanton of NatureWorks, which makes the material. In October, Burt's Bees will begin wrapping soaps in TerraSkin paper, which is made of minerals (not trees) and biodegrades in landfills.
