MOMA RPET BOTTLE BAG

Always supplying their museum with the most innovative designs, MoMA embraced the idea of carrying the bottle bag and pushing environmental innovation. All purchases support the exhibitions and programs at the Museum of Modern Art.

The Project

A new line of tote bags, directly from our Chameleon Collection, especially designed for the Museum of Modern Art Design Store. The bottle bag brings a higher level of design to the forward environmental thinkers and environmental thinking to the design savvy.

Objective

Provide a re-usable shopping bag, with more stylish design and high functionality at a reasonable price.

Using post-consumer recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) aka recycled soda and water bottles,tell the story of recycling, and closing the loop to the MoMa consumer, as well as the observer on the street.

Result

The bags retail for only $14.99, and have flown of the shelves. The item is on its third re-order, and gains great recognition for its education attributes and simplicity.

D & S created the hang tag (printed on TerraSkin ® paper, a tree-free paper).
