Design & Source Productions was founded by Laura Tufariello in 1996 in New York City. Laura’s creative eye for products has taken her all over the world to explore and find new materials and methods. Today the company has 50 global clients across multiple industries and uses its international offices and telecommunications to service clients around the world.

The business has flourished as Laura has led many initiatives to develop sustainable materials that have re-invigorated major brands through innovative packaging.

Laura’s business objective has been to marry profit with purpose. This perspective has lead to her role as an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City teaching senior students a course on Sustainable Package Design.

In 2008 Ms. Tufariello was a guest speaker at the Women’s Leadership Council held at the United Nations. Ms.Tufariello is an active member of the Women’s Leadership Executive Circle and a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition.  Under her leadership Design & Source Productions received the 2008 New York Enterprise Best Practices Award for Green Business.

Today, the company encourages employee volunteerism, and supports the Good Dog Foundation, Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, New York City Coalition for Resource Recovery (CORR) and St.Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
